- The keeper supplies a current test result, a target they already chose, net water volume, and the rule printed on their supplement label.
Supported corrections
- Supported parameters are alkalinity, calcium, magnesium, nitrate, and phosphate.
- Liquid and dry additives work when the label rule can be expressed as ‘X ml or g raises Y units in Z litres’.
- Litres, UK gallons, and US gallons are normalised to litres for calculation.
Output and storage
- ReefDose returns a deterministic total dose, the working formula, supplied inputs, warnings, and label-capped steps when a manufacturer maximum is supplied.
- When the label gives no maximum, ReefDose shows the total amount and withholds steps.
- Tank details and completion history stay in the browser. A completed evidence receipt can be downloaded as JSON.

- No target recommendation. No product recommendation. No diagnosis, chemistry interpretation, livestock advice, or outcome guarantee.
- ReefDose never invents a manufacturer maximum, label strength, correction direction, or dosing schedule.
